Friday, August 21st, 2009Kelvin Lim won 3 honorary mentions in the International Photography Awards 2009 in the Fine Art Nudes and People: Wedding categories. The entries advanced through 3 rounds to reach the final round of the jurying process, where the finalists compete for the top prize.
I’m particularly pleased because this competition promotes good photography, instead of senseless digital enhancements. I enjoyed the high quality of competition. Although I didn’t win the top prizes, I hope this achievement can show people that there’s nothing to be ashamed about nude photography, it can be artistic and beautiful if taken with the right attitude.
